A brand new standalone single, THE OTHERS is your introduction to both the new lineup and a brand new character in The Heir Apparition mythos.

THE OTHERS is an aggressive, high energy trip into the bands mythology, one that wants to grab the listener by the ears and keep them intrigued for its 3 minute run time. Calling to mind the likes of QOTSA and other more contemporary progressive acts, THE OTHERS teases a new sonic direction for the band, one that will hopefully excite existing fans and entice new ones to take their first steps into the fantasy world the band have created.

"The Others is pretty self reflective. It's about cycles of destruction, trying your best to be a better person and do better for the people around you, but not always succeeding. Inside the fictional element, its an introduction to a new character. He's a guy thats trying to reinvent himself as something new. In his old life he did a lot of harm, killed people, did some really nasty things, and the voices of those people follow him and taunt him as he tries his best to do build a new version of himself. There's no one single character that represents me in this whole thing, but each character has elements of me in them in some way. This one is no exception."
Whilst this character is brand new to the bands concept, he has a past life that many may be familiar with.
"In his past life he was Sweeney Todd, and hes now going by a different name and trying to find a new, and unusual, purpose inside our world. He's sort of a space-time ghost hunter, and the voices of his victims speak to him through a spirit box he has. He's similar to our main character Elo in that he's no longer bound to any one time or place, physically. He can shift between universes almost at will, and he wants a travelling partner."

The Others releases on March 13th, it will be available on all major music providers.
